Following the launch of a new track in December 2012, Styria's first cable car for 10 people was launched in December 2013 and runs 2.1 km.
This modern cable car takes you from 1,600 meters to 2,050 meters. This allows skiers to reach the top of Rosenkranz or even the Sixpack from Bergstation comfortably and quickly.
The total cost of the investment (including the snow cannon system and the two new snowcats) was € 9 million.
The Kreischberg ski resort is very popular with Hungarian skiers and snowboarders, because from December to the end of March you can enjoy your favorite winter sports on snow-covered ski resorts, on well-maintained, 46 km long ski slopes.
The resort has 48 state-of-the-art snow guns designed to keep the ski slopes in perfect condition every day of the ski season.
The Kreischberg is an ideal family ski resort, with the wide blue slopes for the whole family to ski together and the children to enjoy the many winter attractions: the two-step study trail with magic carpet for beginners, and the famous Dinopark and Frey .
Kreischberg is ideal for both advanced and professional skiers. A tubing track, a speed section, a surfing track, a jumping table, a qualifying track, a free-ride track, a mogul skiing track, a deep-ski run and a 2.5 km cross-country skiing track await the lovers of winter sports.
Kreischberg is also known as a snowboarders' paradise because of its natural semi-tube, snowboard park and wild off-piste. It is no coincidence that in addition to many international snowboarding competitions, the Hungarian champions can also compare their skills here in the at the Hungarian Snowboarding Championship, which is held every year. Kreischberg also won the right to host the 2015 Freestyle World Cup.
Of course, both intermediate and advanced skiers will find their way on the red and black slopes leading from the 2118 meter high Rosenkranz Peak, or in fresh snow-covered areas.
In addition to the new 10-person ski lift, the ski paradise is served by a 6-person cabin, 4-seater, 3-poma lifts and a button ski lift.
Lachtal

Lachtal is a kid's friend and the tools they offer are ideal for beginners as well: magic carpet, rope lift, mini-slalom slides, colorful figures, treasure hunting, kids taxi, and last but not least, up to 6 years and under parental controls all ski-lifts are free!
The six-seat chair lift used since 2010/11 season will lead you to Schönberg. A panoramic path ("Schönfahrpiste") has been set up next to the elevator. Across the mountain, a poma lift called "Dietrichalm Lift", has been put into operation, and new slopes have been created (sign 12)! The "Schönberg-Schaukel" six-seater lift is equipped with a wind and rain cover and the older "Lachtal 6-er Bahn" has heated seats!
Lachtal has 2 modern six-seat chairlifts, 7 longer pull-lifts and 2 short beginners lifts (magic carpet), 26 km of mostly snow-gunned tracks, 10 km of hiking trails, all on a 150-hectare day slope. With a height of 1600-2222 meters and an outstanding snowmobile system due to its 107 million liters reservoir, the ski resort is one of the most snow-capped ski areas in the Eastern Alps

The winter holidays at the Turracher Höhe ski resort are all about diversity.
At 1,763 meters, the tourist region offers a wide variety of winter activities: continuous snow-covered ski slopes (up to 2,205 meters), diverse cross-country skiing trails, unique winter hiking trails and an idyllic forest lake that turns into a natural skating rink in winter.

Grebenzen St. Lambrecht
Distance from the apartment is 16 km
Grebenzen Ski Area is just 15 km from Murau. The lifts from the historic town of St. Lambrecht bridge a significant difference in level. Most of the courses are light to medium. There is also an FIS-certified downhill skiing track for advanced riders. There is a four-seater lift in the ski area, the other lifts are poma and button. Several restaurants, huts and pizzeria have a sun terrace.
There is a sledge run next to the ski slopes and managed cross-country ski runs near the town.
Outside the winter season, it is home to the longest 1700-meter summer bobsleigh track in the Styrian region.
Tubing
Everyone should try tubing at the top of the cabin lift. Three secure pitches we can run down appr. 200 meters in the tubing tube, at the end of which a ramp slows down the speed.
Permanent racetrack:
On the permanent racetrack everyone can try themselves as a racer. The time spent on the appr. 20 goalkeepers' track is measured by an automatic system. One round: EUR 1.
Speed Track:
You can expect a particularly sweeping speed on the speed track: a steep slope ca.100 m long, the speed of the downhill is measured. It's a great time to compete in a speed race with your friends! Use of the Speedway is free!
Sledge track
- Sledding is not only a fun experience for children but also for adults. The 1.2 km long run offers recreation for the whole family.
